Trump’s EPA is breaking the law – again

Donald Trump’s administration is attempting to skirt the law and weaken restrictions on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) — a category of extremely powerful greenhouse gas. The administration is breaking the law, so I’m suing.

The science is clear that we should be reducing our reliance on these super-pollutants, not easing the rules meant to tackle this crisis head-on.

But that’s exactly what Trump’s EPA is attempting to do by weakening rules that phase out the use of HFCs.

Once again, the Trump administration is attacking our critical environmental safeguards while communities across the country are left to deal with the consequences. It’s wrong and illegal — so once again, I’m taking them to court.
