It’s that time of year again: Natural disasters in California. Wildfires tends to be the most obvious natural disaster in California, and right now, there is a wildfire threat to the acclaimed wine region that is Napa Valley. But there’s not just fires. A mud slide is impacting the Sierra Nevada, and Central California was on flood watch. The Central Valley oddly had thunderstorms; imagine seeing rain when it’s 100 degrees outside. Hopefully none of these escalate, so that California can rely on itself, because any federal assistance simply wouldn’t happen if things got out of control.
