California undoubtedly has one of the best educational programs, opportunities and infrastructure in the country. From dozens of reputable universities, to financial options, Governor Gavin Newsom introduced another financial opportunity for college students.
Those who do volunteer work of at least 450 hours will obtain $10,000 for tuition costs, so long as colleges participate (much of the UCs, CSUs and CCCs are participating).
