The books have closed on the 2023-24 NBA regular season and the wild, wild West has finally settled on all 10 seeds going into the postseason. All California teams have made the cutoff and will be participating in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. Props have to go to the L.A. Clippers who finished a legit and impressive 4 seed in a very tough and very talented Western Conference. They secure home court advantage in the first round and will host the Dallas Mavericks in a clash of the 4 and 5 seeds.

The Los Angeles Lakers secure the 8 seed with an impressive performance against the New Orleans Pelicans on the road. We’ll see if “practice makes perfect” as they will face off against the Pelicans AGAIN in the Play In tournament in New Orleans. The Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors dropped to the 9 and 10 seeds respectively which sets up a 9 and 10 showdown in the state’s capitol on April 16th.
