The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a sale for the iconic sports franchise with a price tag of $10.1 billion. Mark Walter, co-owner of the L.A. Dodgers, will be taking over as majority shareholder of the club. Walter brings a stellar success record with him as the Dodgers have notched a World Series championship and 14 National League crowns. Walter also brings some very deep pockets to a team that will have more than its fair share of big-time financial decisions to weigh.
