CADEM: Organizing in action (San Diego)

This past weekend, CADEM Executive Board members gathered in San Diego to make critical endorsements and continue organizing to win in November. To view the full list of our endorsed candidates and ballot measure positions for the November 2026 General Election, click here.

Last weekend at our Summer Executive Board meeting in San Diego, we hosted a phonebank to call voters in CA-48, one of our key red-to-blue districts. Delegates showed up to make calls for Marni von Wilpert, with special guests like Marni’s mom, CADEM Chair Rusty Hicks and Rep. Maxine Waters getting on the phones to talk to voters about what’s at stake. Special shoutout to the Organizing Committee and San Diego Dems for partnering with us to make this phonebank happen!

With Election Day less than three months out, we’re ramping up our phonebanks to get in touch with voters who will decide this election. We’ve officially launched our Take Back the House Phonebank for Bilingual Spanish Speakers, and our CA-6 phonebank to call voters in one of the most competitive races in the country. Calling voters is one of the most effective ways to improve turnout, and you can do it from the comfort of your couch! Join a phonebank this week and be part of the team fighting forward for a better future.
