Los Angeles Lakers blow 26-point lead and fall to Oklahoma City Thunder

At some point this summer I smiled wryly when I heard that the Los Angeles Lakers had picked up Russell Westbrook. Don’t get wrong, Westbrook is a triple-double machine and has an energy and force to his game that is very rare; even among the towering talents in the NBA. Among the Lakers, I think Westbrook makes them a weaker team because there are simply not enough touches to go around.

Last night, the Lakers dropped a game they not only should have won (at least on paper) but they had carved out for themselves a 26-point lead before blowing it all to hell. In the video clip below, Jalen Rose and David Jacoby react to the Lakers collapse in the second half vs the Thunder, reacting to Russell Westbrook’s ejection and more.
