Stephen Curry (32 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists) and Klay Thompson (34 points, 5 rebounds) combined for 66 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 123-107.

Make no mistake about it, this was a statement game for the Dubs. With all of the departures in the offseason in order to make room for the stable of great rookie talent, this season has been a struggle. No one foresaw just how much of a drop off the Warriors would see in once the starters came off the floor. The Dubs have ALOT of work to do this season and hovering around .500 isn’t going to help when it comes to playoff ranking.

What this game showed me, and the Celtics, and the rest of the league, the starting 5 (with just a little help from the bench) can still get it done. The haters and the naysayers are going to do and say whatever they want. Take it from me, the Golden State Warriors are still my pick to REPEAT this season as champs.
